Global Voices Scholarship 2024
The Global Voices Fellowship supports young Australians (18-30)* to have an unparalleled opportunity with experience in policymaking and international diplomacy.
The current application round (closing 31st March) includes a delegation to the Higher Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development, and the next closing round (June/July this year) includes a delegation to the 2025 Commission on the Status of Women.
During the program, you will also have the remarkable opportunity to attend private meetings with subject matter experts, esteemed academics, top-level Commonwealth Government departmental representatives, Members of the Australian Parliament and leaders of civil society and private organisations.
This program is suitable for:
personal and/or professional interest in the delegation's purpose and issues
Unique and relevant experience, showing a commitment to the fellowship requirements
Potential to gain professionally and personally from the experience
Intention to contribute meaningfully to the fellowship and their communities following the fellowship
A relevant, considered and quality policy proposal
Eligibility:
Be aged 18 - 30 for the full duration of the program
Be available for pre-departure training in Canberra (dates listed in the application form)
Be available and able to travel for the full duration of the international delegation you are applying for
Have the ability to commit at least 5 hours per week to the fellowship program
Currently, hold or can obtain a passport well before your delegation's dates and will be valid for at least 6 months after the end of your delegation
Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident

AICD's Governance Foundations for Not-for-Profit Directors - 2024/2025 program
The Australian Leadership Hub in partnership with the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), is pleased to announce 200 full scholarships to join the AICD's Governance Foundations for Not-for-Profit Directors – 2024/2025 program.
The scholarships will provide directors, executives and emerging directors of not-for-profit organisations (with a turnover of less than $2m) an understanding of fundamental compliance and performance related roles and responsibilities of directors, specifically in the areas of governance, risk, financial performance and strategy.
This program is suitable for:
Executives accepting their first directorship
Those who are considering accepting a directorship
Executives who report directly to a board
Directors who are seeking to transition into not-for-profit directorship
Directors of not-for-profit companies and community organisations
Eligibility:
Applicants must be an Australian citizen or Australian permanent resident who fits one of the following categories:
Category one: existing
currently employed as an executive of a charity or not-for-profit organisation, OR;
a current non-executive director on the board of a charity or not-for-profit organisation
Category two: aspiring
An aspiring non-executive director who may currently work, volunteer or has a similar relationship with a specific NFP organisation.
This course runs over one full day and one-half days. Multiple course dates are available in each State and Territory across Australia, between August 2024 and June 2025.
